Wendy is a licensed social worker and therapist; she has worked in the
nonprofit sector in a variety of roles, and for over a decade directed a
number of homeless housing programs in nearby Pittsburgh. As Unique
Miniatures grows, her vision is to empower and create meaningful
employment for women – especially those in recovery from addiction and
with barriers to employment. She’s also a crafter who loves fresh
wreaths, candles, and resin casting! Owning UM brings together two of
her passions: creating, and supporting women as they build healthy lives
and families and self-sufficiency. 

Amanda is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a BA in Graphic Design. She is now the Production Manager at Unique Miniatures where she creates detailed products from pouring to sanding, packaging and even mailing. In her down time she immerses herself in acrylic and oil painting.
