Wendy is a licensed social worker and therapist; she has worked in the
nonprofit sector in a variety of roles, and for over a decade directed a
number of homeless housing programs in nearby Pittsburgh. As Unique
Miniatures grows, her vision is to empower and create meaningful
employment for women – especially those in recovery from addiction and
with barriers to employment. She’s also a crafter who loves fresh
wreaths, candles, and resin casting! Owning UM brings together two of
her passions: creating, and supporting women as they build healthy lives
and families and self-sufficiency.
